St. Augustine's Chapel at Vanderbilt

Mar 22, 2020

Jesus looks to see how we react to needs around us. Jesus didn’t have much, and he used dirt and spit to heal the blind man. Today, this might be the equivalent of toilet paper. People are hoarding. Others are giving it away. We live in a time where we can't afford to turn our back on the needs around us. If you look—smell—wait—you will see pain, longing, and you will find God. Offering love in dirt and spit, offering toilet paper to save humiliation, you will see God. Sermon begins at 9:15.
